Thank you for considering Universal Aqua (a trading name of Universal Aquaculture Limited) for your project, I am Ben Woodward the company director of UAL. I am responsible for the overall management of projects from beginning to end.

My qualifications and experience are as follows:
BSc (hons) – Aquaculture and Fishery Management
FdFsc – Degree in fishery science
National Diploma – Triple Distinction in Aquatics and Ornamental Fish Management
Certificate in Anatomy and Physiology of fish
Certificate in Diseases and Pathogens of fish
OATA certificate in fish biology
Awarded the 2004 Rolfe C Hagen Glass Rose dish for best performance in Fish Science at the centre of excellence Sparsholt College.

UAL is an innovative multi-disciplined company responsible for the design, build and project management of all aspects of ornamental and commercial fishery management. In addition we are a distributor of fish and aquatic products - specialising in the high end and bespoke markets.
We are a multifaceted company covering all aspects from water features, garden ponds, lakes, fish farms and awe inspiring aquariums. We are a relatively small company but with customer care and their specific requirements at the heart of our business.

Responsible for the renovation of many Sussex water features built circa 1890’s
Renovation of Sir. Basil Spence's ACCA Pond at Sussex University
Built the BBC Radio 4 Gardeners Question Time pond in 2004
Designed the first eat what you catch Salmonid (trout) fishery in Jordan - almost salmon fishing in the yemen!
Designed Successful Ornamental Parrotfish farm in Syria
Designed and built Europe’s largest double bull nosed jellyfish aquarium 2009
Designed and built the Bourne Hatchery in Hadlow, Kent
Built a number of systems at Sparsholt College Hampshire
