We were commissioned to design and construct the UK's largest dedicated natural swimming pond at South Lodge Hotel, creating a feature that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape while delivering exceptional water quality without the use of traditional chemicals.
The project involved full groundworks, structural shaping, and the integration of a biological filtration system to maintain clarity and balance naturally. Particular attention was given to aesthetics, ensuring the pond complemented the hotel’s high-end environment while remaining robust and low maintenance.
The result is a striking, fully functional swimming pond that enhances the guest experience and demonstrates what can be achieved when engineering and natural design are combined properly.
